Directed by the founder and editor-in-chief of Garage magazine, Dasha Zhukova, and starring actress Chloë Sevigny and fashion writer Derek Blasberg, this 1920’s short silent film forms part of the Fashion Fetish film season on SHOWstudio.com. “Once Upon A Dress” explores the importance of the right gown in this case being current season Prada, complete with knife edge pleats and spaghetti-straps – and not the right man in the quest for happiness. Sevigny plays a hapless ingenue who arrives at a glittering soiree and immediately falls in love with a dress hanging from the wall. Cue all sorts of hazy daydreams in which Blasberg – a dapper roaring 20s gentleman in tux and tails – whisks her off her feet.

Blake Lively is the newest leading lady chosen to represent Gucci. Launching in July 2012 Gucci Premiere will be the newest in Gucci’s women’s fragrance collection. Blake will appear in print advertisements as well as a campaign film directed by Cannes Film Festival award-winning director Nicolas Winding Refn. The short film will be premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September. Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini said of her inspiration “In conceiving this fragrance I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood’s golden era.
