From top: Prade Poeme sunglasses + Miu Miu Rasoir sunglasses and opticals

These amazing Prada Poeme sunglasses are what I want in my life right now. They offer a fresh approach to wearing flowers on your pretty little head. The bold frame is unexpected and they feature beautiful hand painted 3D flowers – the same floral design that was seen on the Prada catwalk for Spring/Summer 2013.

The Miu Miu Rasoir collection features a semi-rimless cat eyed frame with bold arms. Our favourite bad girl RiRi is a huge fan of Rasoir and has been photographed wearing them over and over. The Rasoir collection is displayed in the sensational campaign directed by Inez & Vinoodh, starring models Arizona Muse, Adriana LIma, Malgosia Bella, Bette Franke, Martha Hunt and Doutzen Kroes.

Prada and Miu Miu are available at the OPSM Eye Hub. The Eye Hub is like no other eyewear store I’ve ever seen. They have the hugest range of designer frames and sunglasses and offer the latest services in advanced scanning technology and eye testing. The OPSM Eye Hub is at 174-176 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, Victoria 3122 Telephone: (03) 9819 5424 www.opsm.com.au

The spotlight’s on Louis Vuitton’s iconic shoes and it’s time to dance. The French fashion house pays tribute to the iconic shoes that have marked its history in an expertly choreographed clip. From the Pact mocassins from the Fall/Winter 2013-2014 pre-collection and the pastel colored heels of Spring/Summer 2012, to Spring/Summer 2009’s tribal sandals and the giraffe print stilettos from Spring/Summer 2011, both womenswear and menswear styles can be seen showing off some rather fancy footwork with super speedy cabaret and jazz-inspired steps.

Phoebe Philo showed a Celine collection for a/w 2013 that added a new layer of femininity and refinement. It was insanely elegant. There were beautiful grey cardigan capes that knotted at the front as if they were separate garments but they weren’t. Shapes were serene and soft, gorgeous coats of peach and pink and gently ballooning proportions and jumpers that were shorter at the front than they were at the back in slate and navy. It was so effortless and so wearable.

Isabel Marant returned to her Parisian roots for A/W 2013 with a relatively understated collection based on comfort and layering. Marant mostly used monochromes, opening the show with a series of navy looks before progressing into ivory and black. The silhouette was tight and stretchy, with leggings done in leather and suede, fitted sweaters and dresses with multiple hemlines. The evolution of Marant’s hit hidden wedge sneaker continues – this time in strappy, furry bootie versions.
